Lives and works in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
He studied Fine Arts at UDESC, Sao Paulo, where he graduated in 1984.
Among his personal exhibitions we can mention: Plug In Gallery (1991, Winnipeg, Canada), Ruta Correa Gallery (1994,1997, Freiburg, Germany), Casa Triángulo (1997, 1999, 2004, 2006, Sao Paulo), Sol del Río (1998, 2001, 2005, 2012, Guatemala), Nara Roesler Gallery (2009, Sao Paulo), Illingworth Kerr Gallery (2008, Calgary, Canada), Confederation Center of the Arts (2009, Charlottetown, Canada), Roberto Alban Gallery (2013, Salvador de Bahia). In 1993 he received in his country the Gunther Prize in the Painting Category.
He has also participated in collective exhibitions since the early 90's, including: Panorama of Brazilian Art (1995, curated by Ivo Mesquita, Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art), Brazil is the art of the Century (1999 from the Museo de Arte collection), Contemporary Art of Sao Paulo in FIESP), Contemporary Brazilian Art on paper (1999, curated by Tadeu Chiarelli, MAM, SP), 25 International Biennial of Sao Paulo (2000, curated by Agnaldo Farias) and the Montreal Biennial, among others.
His artwork is housed in the collections of the Art Museum of Santa Catarina, the Museum of Modern Art of Sao Paulo, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Sao Paulo University; the Museum of Contemporary Art of Parana, the Museum of Brasilian Art of the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, and the Itaú Cultural Institute of Sao Paulo.
