A collective exhibition showcasing the latest work by Darío Escobar, Luis González Palma, Diana de Solares, and Paulo Whitaker. Each artist approaches the rules of abstraction as a starting point to reflect on history, violence, meditation, and mathematics. How do we perceive and make sense of abstract forms? How do these forms create a kind of “afterimage” in the viewer’s consciousness? By blurring the boundaries between painting, sculpture, and photography, the artists invite us to question the ways in which abstraction can respond to the particularities of a historical moment and a geographic space.
